GASTONIA - Raymond "Ray" Peter Gaeto, 70, passed away March 7, 2017 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas.
He was born Dec. 29, 1946 in Wayne, N.J., the son of the late John Anthony Gaeto and Josephine Andolina Gaeto.
A visitation celebrating his life will be held 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.

Given the simularity of our last names, I would talk to Ray for a few minutes every day in home room. He was a great guy to chat with for a few minutes and start the day. He always had a positive attitude. We did not stay in touch after highschool but I hope he had a good life. This shows us just how little time some us may have. Time to dust off the treadmill!
