DALLAS - Lewellyn Payseur Overcash, 67, passed away Nov. 3, 2013, at her residence with her loving family by her side.

She was born June 14, 1946, in Gaston County, to William Payseur and the late Geraldine Payseur.

Lewellyn was a member of First Baptist Church of High Shoals. 

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Atwell Clinton Overcash; son, Joe Overcash and spouse, Christopher Thomas; daughters, Lauren Gunter and husband Craig and Elizabeth Scruggs; brothers, William Payseur Jr. and wife Letha Ty Payseur and wife Beth; sisters, Jan Gray and husband Walter; grandchildren, William Scruggs and finance, Amanda Ross, Clint Gunter, Mary 
Beth Scruggs, and Christopher Gunter.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of High Shoals with the Rev. Doug McClain 
officiating. 

Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park.
