Mr. Riley, 58, of 16510 Crowders Creek Road, died Wednesday, October 5, 2006 at his residence. A native of Gaston County, he was a son of Mary Elizabeth Palmer Riley of Gastonia, and the late Newman Willard Riley, Jr. Funeral service is 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 10, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Gastonia, with Father Kiernan Neilson, OSB, officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 P.M., Sunday, October 9, at McLean Funeral Directors in Gastonia. Mr. Riley was a graduate of Ashley High School in Gastonia, and was employed by Southern Concrete Materials as a salesman. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Matthew David Riley of Oveida, FL. and Willard Allen Riley and wife Tracy Coleman Riley, of Rock Hill, S.C.; sister, Meg Riley of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Riley, Dillon Matthew Riley and Aubrie Gaylyn Riley; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
