In Memory

Mary Hamm (Nau)

Mrs. Mary Nau, 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

The family will celebrate her life during a graveside service on Saturday at 2 pm in the Chapel at the Pinewood Memorial Park Mausoleum with her Pastor Andrew Shue officiating.

Mary is fondly remembered for the love for her family. She was a person of strong faith and loved her church family at First Christian Church. She lived life to the fullest and was “All In”. She could be fierce and strong willed and opinionated. She enjoyed dancing with Harold, the beach, baking and cooking as well as decorating. She also liked reading, puzzles and gardening. She kept up with politics and was active in her political beliefs. She enjoyed animals and loved her pets. She absolutely adored her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Hamm and Alice Baker Hamm.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Harold Nau, (they were married on October 5, 1991); sons, David Lee and wife, Jennifer, and Gregg Lee and wife, Harriet; grandchildren, Nicholas Lee, Caroline Lee, Elizabeth Lee, Erin Lee and Robert Lee.

She also leaves behind her pets, (dogs), Anna-Claire and Cate, (cats) Julia, Margaret, “Hissy” Blue and Abby.

I've known "Hamm" since we were 6 years old.  There are enough memories to fill volumns. She was one of a kind and I loved her like a sister. Fly high my friend and save me a seat.    Weaver
