Have been working as a Math tutor ever since-though I'm semi-retired now.

In 12th grade Math IV Mr Kenneth Hoyle explained to us that the US Army had discovered that pi was exactly 3 1/7; but this was a national secret & we should never say anything about it!

I remember Cathy Craig shooting Mr Hoyle with a water gun!

I recall the total weirdness of boys racing for their lab partners in Miss Fannie Holmes Smith's Chemistry class. I took this class as a Senior & the only other senior was Harry(sorry, Harry, I can't remember you're last name;you'll have to help me here.). Anyway, after Harry had spent an entire class hitting on a girl, Miss Smith called her aside for a lecture: Harry was very serious about his studies & she needed to respect that & not bother him!

A year after graduating, Doug Clevenger was preparing for Miss Smith's final exam, & asked if I still had mine. I did, but after I dug it up he barely payed attention to it. " I think you should look at this..." & " You should study this," but he was all:"No, I just wanted an idea..." He made around a 70 on the exam & it was the exact same exam!
